About Manas.Fit

A studio built around the practice, not the mirror

Ancient wisdom, modern practice — on the third floor of KNA Complex, Haralur Main Road.

Our story

Yoga that nourishes body, mind and soul

Manas.Fit opened as an authentic space for people in HSR Extension and Haralur to begin — or restart — a real yoga practice. The name comes from manas, the Sanskrit word for mind: the part of you the practice is ultimately for.

The hall is bright, wooden-floored and fully rigged for aerial work, with hammocks at multiple heights, wheels, bolsters, blocks and belts in constant use. A hand-painted mural of a meditating figure sits at one end — most of our students end their savasana looking at it.

Batches are deliberately kept small. A teacher who can see every mat is a teacher who can correct you before a habit sets in, and that is the difference between practising yoga and merely attending a class.

How we teach

Three things we hold to

Authentic, not performative

We teach yoga as it was handed down — asana, pranayama and stillness — rather than a workout wearing yoga's clothes. Sanskrit names, proper sequencing, real savasana.

Everybody starts somewhere

Stiff hamstrings, a bad back, sixty years old, never exercised: none of it disqualifies you. Props and modifications exist precisely so the posture can meet your body.

Consistency over intensity

Turning up three times a week for a year changes more than one heroic month. Our batches and plans are built to make showing up easy.

The space

What to expect on your first visit

  1. 01

    Arrive ten minutes early

Come up to the third floor of KNA Complex, above Bank of Baroda. Leave your shoes at the door.

  2. 02

Tell the teacher about your body

Injuries, surgeries, pregnancy, a stiff shoulder — anything that changes how a posture should be taught to you.

  3. 03

    Take what you need

Mats and props are provided. Sit out any posture, ask for a modification, and rest whenever your breath gets ragged.

  4. 04

    Stay for savasana

The last few minutes of stillness are not optional extras. They are where the practice settles.
